Welcome to TCS Ignite!
Ignite is a hi-tech, hi-touch learning program specially designed for young science graduates to transform into world class IT professionals. The program would be for seven months wherein, four months would be classroom training and three months would be work study. It will foster industry oriented learning through state-of- the-art, innovative technologies at a new center identified for this purpose in Chennai.
The program will promote blended learning through a mix of power broadcast sessions, intensive lab-work and workshops, collaborative e-learning, formal lectures and more importantly various informal learning modes. This will cater to individual learning styles and meet the myriad demands of the people involved in both imparting and receiving knowledge.
At the end of the training program, the trainees will have an opportunity to work in leading software development projects as regular TCS employees.
Eligibility of candidates
Ø Only B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry/Maths/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Statistics/ Information Systems)/B.C.A. will be considered
Ø 2007 pass outs only
Ø Consistent performer in academics with scores of 60% and above in Class X and Class XII and graduation.
Ø No standing arrears/back logs at the time of appearing for the selection process
Ø Prior knowledge of computers is welcome but not mandatory.
