Job Description
Department Description: This position is a Software Testing position in Quality Assurance Division of Networking and Communications Business Group.

Responsibilities /Expectations:
Work with the development team and testing team in Taiwan/Taipei and China/Suzhou to validate the mobile phone software.
Create, execute and translate manual test cases and scenarios in order to validate functional requirements.
Work closely with QA engineers and internal/external customers to develop comprehensive testing criteria and plans to ensure accuracy and timeliness of software changes.
Clear and accurate recording of results, logging faults into tracking system, pursuance of the resolution of the fault reports.
Report job progress to PA Team Leader and maintain test environment.
Perform field test in India for mobile phone.
Support overseas field test if necessary.
Other duties as assigned by management


Desired Profile
Specific Knowledge/Skills:

B.E in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, B.S in computer Science, EE, Maths, Physicsor equivalent experience.
Initiative, good communication skills and strong desire to work with various groups and individuals without much supervision.
Good English and PC skills are required.
1-3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Working knowledge of mobile phone is preferred.
Extensive Manual Test script writing experience is preferred.
