Designation : QA Trainee

Job Description:As a QA Trainee, you are responsible for test preparation (test cases), testing (manual and/or automated), and defect management for on-going projects, ensuring compliance with corporate QA processes and standards.

Additional responsibilities may include:
§ Reviewing/Documenting requirements.
§ Working with TQM team to understand, enforce, and refine processes for corporate-wide improvement initiatives.

Technical Skill Set Needed:
· hands-on software testing experience, testing client server and/or web-based applications (manual testing) is a plus
· Knowledge on Software Engineering is a plus.
· Knowledge of an automation tool, preferably QuickTest Professional 8.2, a plus
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, or equivalent experience

Other Desired Skills:
· Highly detail-oriented
· Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
· Strong analysis and problem solving abilities
· Ability to work independently and within a team
