Recruitment for QA Engineer - Customer Facing Tools (CFT)

Job Description :
QA engineer for the Customer Facing Tools (CFT) engineering team located in NetApp Bangalore (NB). Provide support for currently shipping tools and new tools through developing test design, plans, and test cases, automating them wherever required and executing them.

Partner closely with the U.S.-based CFT engineering team and work in a cross-functional environment with key partners within Engineering, Global Support and Information Technology to develop, update and maintain various ASUP and Customer Facing tools.

Essential Functions:
- Quickly learn the architecture, design and features of the various tools and solutions offered.
- Develop test design and test plans (cases) and scenarios.
- Participate and analyze the requirements and enhancements
- Responsible for execution of test cases including regression and exploratory testing.
- Perform Integration, System, stress, performance and load testing
- Upon completion of the test cycle generate the appropriate test completion documentation
- Work independently for resolving critical issues.
- Work closely with developers within Engineering (getting the bug fixes on time), NetApp Global Services (NGS) and Information Technology (IT) to ensure software pieces integrate properly
- Responsible for meeting deliverables and deadlines to ensure all the programs and projects remain on schedule, while delivering high quality results.
- Must provide pro-active and re-active support and training to all the customers (Internal and External), QA and other teams in NetApp.

Requirements:
- New College Grad and/or 1 year experience
- Has demonstrated the successful completion of multiple complex technical tasks
- Programming knowledge in Perl or C or C++ or Java
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication (written and verbal) skills required
- Should be highly motivated and willing to doing some html / PERL / Java programming if required (good to have)
- Knowledge of SLDC
- Understands standard engineering principles, concepts and techniques

Education: BE, BTech, ME or MTech degree
