Job Description:
1. Tests software releases during the product development.
2. Reports test results and enters problems and issues into the bug database. Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
3. Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
4. Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments.
5. Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures.
6. Completes assigned test-related tasks.
7. Manages the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
8. Assists in the automation of relevant test procedures.
9. Assists in review of test processes as they are developed.
